Quick fixes
The five things people write in about
- The video export will not start
- Some browsers cannot record video from a page, most often older Safari builds and locked-down work devices. The GIF export beside it works everywhere. If you need video, open the studio in Chrome or Edge.
- The cutout left a halo, or removed too much
- Move the edge tolerance slider and run it again. Raise it if a fringe of background is still there, lower it if part of your subject vanished. Plain, evenly lit backgrounds give the cleanest result.
- The export is taking a while
- Frame count and speed both drive how long a render takes. Drop the frame count to around ten and export again. Everything renders on your own device, so nothing is stuck in a queue.
- My keyword is getting cut off
- Long phrases shrink to fit and stop being readable in motion. One or two words is the sweet spot. If you need a longer phrase, try Magazine Letters, which wraps onto multiple rows.
- The green screen will not key cleanly
- Lower the paper texture and distortion sliders before exporting, then key again. Grain and extreme rotation along torn edges are the usual cause of a green fringe.
