Press Coverage Posts: The Launch Format That Converts

The stacked-clipping format works because it implies consensus. Here is how to use it on launch day without overclaiming.

Press Coverage stacks five clippings onto the frame one at a time, each from a different masthead, each carrying the same keyword. The effect is social proof compressed into two seconds.

Where it fits

  • Launch day announcements, where the keyword is the product category rather than the product.
  • Funding and milestone posts, where the number is the keyword.
  • Event promos, where the keyword is the city or the date.
  • Recaps, where the keyword is the result.

Keep it honest

The mastheads in the animation are generic by design. They are not real publications and they do not claim to be. Use the format to dramatise a real thing, not to imply coverage you do not have. Put the actual claim in your caption where it can be checked.

The timing that works

Let the first three cards land fast, then hold on the full stack for about a second before you cut. That final hold is where the viewer reads the repeated keyword and the point registers.

One clipping is a claim. Five clippings is a consensus. That is the entire mechanism.

Try it on your own keyword. Free, no account, thirty seconds.
