From Photo to Cut-Out in One Click

Drop a photo into the studio and it becomes the press photo inside your clipping, converted to grayscale and screened with a halftone dot pattern so it matches the print. Hit cutout and the background is lifted away, leaving just the subject.

Photos that work beautifully

• Product shots on a plain white or single-colour backdrop.
• Studio portraits with an even background.
• Screenshots and logos with flat backgrounds.
• Anything already shot against a green or blue screen.

Photos that need a hand

Busy backgrounds, heavy shadows behind the subject, and subjects wearing the same colour as the wall behind them. If the edge comes out ragged, raise the tolerance slightly and try again, or crop tighter before uploading so there is less background to remove.

A shortcut worth knowing

You do not always need a cutout. Inside a newspaper clipping, a full rectangular photo with a caption underneath often looks more authentic than a floating subject, because that is how print actually works. Try both before you decide.
